Pre-Consultation
Before the shoot I meet with you to discuss what you would like. In the discussion I cover what to wear, where you would like the shoot to occur and what your children like to do. If we can keep the kiddos happy, it will show in the photographs.
Your Shoot
This will be up to two hours and can take place wherever you like. I can photograph you all in your favourite place, along your favourite walk, or in your home in your favourite spot on the sofa. It’s about being relaxed and enjoying the moment.
Your Images
It takes me about a week to process all of your images and get them together for viewing. The images from the shoot are not included in the shoot fee and priced separately. I was originally trained to print photographs by hand in the dark room, but now with the top-of-the-range digital cameras, all your images are processed much quicker.

I do very little post production work in Photoshop as I believe the art is in taking the photograph, not what you can do on your computer. However, as a mother and a woman, I understand if you would like a touch of airbrush help, not that we need it! Just ask.
Your Viewing
I ask that you to come to my home studio to view your images when they are ready. This can be done after work or if you have time on the weekend. I have a lovely big screen, perfectly calibrated to present what your images will look like in real life. You will see 40 plus images from your shoot, and I will help you decide how you would like to display them. I offer a wide choice of frames, collages, and albums, and will come to your home or office to help you measure your wall space if you like!
Fee
The fee for a family shoot is £195, and for an extended family with grandparents and cousins the fee is £250. The images are not included in the booking fee & priced separately. Book here.[/ppb_text]

I work in a documentary style, photographing your day as it unfolds: capturing the flower girls as they attempt to throw their flowers early, photographing the bride having a last minute chat with her father before they walk down the aisle, and getting the glow of happiness as the bride and groom emerge from the ceremony – married!
If you would like some traditional group shots of the family and wedding party, I am happy to do those as well.
