The location of the private tuition is very flexible and can take place outside in the Surrey Hills in Westcott (near Dorking) or a location to suit the individual. For example, a morning on the North Downs can be a great place to get to grips with your camera and trial new techniques. I am also happy to meet you in your garden for a discussion about composition techniques paired with camera mechanics. For all location based tuition, travel will be charged at 90p per mile.
My hourly rate starts at £65 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours per lesson. If you have a friend who would like to join the lesson – great! For each additional person it is an additional £30 per hour.
I will produce a booklet covering the information that we go over on the day, so you can look back on it in the future. My one to one tuition is for both adults and children.
All courses are bespoke; I have tutored clients who have specific objectives (i.e. photographing bicyclists) to clients who want to learn how to photograph on the manual settings.
Sessions can be conducted outdoors at a location of your choice, or we can meet at your home or at my home office in Westcott.
