Lillie will be hosting four morning photography classes where you will learn about your camera mechanics and composition rules. She will work with you to create incredible photographs of the local areas. Throughout the five-day photography vacations in Italy, you will capture stunning areas including Perugia, Umbria, and Cortona.
You will attend photography workshops in amazing locations such as the Etruscan museum and the Cortona fortress. One morning will be spent capturing the sunrise across Cortona valley. Throughout the photography vacation in Cortona, Lillie will cover the exposure triangle, aperture for portraits and landscapes, and composition rules and ideas.
Italy is not only famous for its magnificent countryside and stunning landscapes, but also for its delicious cuisine. Renowned for making the world’s best pizzas and pasta, Italy is a haven for food lovers. During the photography vacation in Cortona, you will visit some exquisite local restaurants and have the chance to dine on some of the most delicious foods around Tuscany.
On the final evening of the photography vacations in Italy, you will indulge in a splendid dinner at The Vineyard’s Michelin acclaimed restaurant.
Lillie will present awards to all the budding photographers and a gallery-style showing of the week’s photography will take place.
The indulgence won’t stop at the food on the photography vacation in Cortona. The Tuscan area is also very well known for its wonderful local wines, and you will have the chance to try some of the famous wines from the province.
One afternoon of the retreat will be spent wine tasting at Tenimenti d’Alessandro alongside some of the most beautiful sunsets in Italy. Not only will you enjoy some of the best wines from the region, but also have the opportunity to capture some unforgettable shots of the low rolling hills towards Montepulciano.
